The third and final quarter final of the Bulgarian selection for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest is about to be held. Another nine songs will be presented and three of them will qualify for the semi final.

The show has started. It was announced that Nikolai Manolov, who took part last year, will be a special guest.
1. Freeway – Sama
The song Sama is another bulgarian rock-ballad, performed by the band Freeway. The performance isnot very remarkableand therefore it might not qualify tonight.
2. Martin Aleksandrov – Mi fai male
Saved by the juries last week, here is Martin Aleksandrov with his rhythmic-rock song. His vocals are very strong and professional and along with him on stage there are two guitars, a keyboard and drums. While the camera takes a view on the crowd it seems they like the song.
3. Svetozar Hristov – Barrow from the shadow
The singer who had no less than three songs last year, is taking part again. It seems that Svetozar decided to make his song multilingual: at the beginning of the song he's talking and then singing in Bulgarian, German and English! A strong performance by him. This might be a potential qualifer.
4. Sunay Chalakov – Neshto ludo
This is a "something crazy"! Sunay got 53.11% in the 8th heat, the highest amount of precents in the whole Be a star contest. It is only him on stage – and the whole crowd really seems to love him. They stand up and dance to the sounds of his electronic song.
5. Tedi Slavcheva feat. Teni & Iva – Don't look for me
Don't look for me is a hip hop song, which won the 7th heat with almost half of the votes. The performance is very simple and has some minor breakdance interpolations.
6. Zona – Senki
The second rock band for tonight, singing in Bulgarian too. The performance and the song are very similar to Freeway's song and performance.
7. Iskren Petsov – Zashto se varna
Same performance for this ethno song, just like in the heat. Iskren was saved by the juries and he repeats the fire-acrobats performance with two backing singers
8. Vatticana – Sun is shining
Vatticana present a straightforward stomp rock song. Thelead singer's voice seems not to be strong enough for the rock song and does not manage to create a rock atmosphere on stage. The overallperformance is kept very simple with the band dressed all in black. Similar songs in Be a star have not done very well so Vatticana might not have the biggest chances for a top position tonight.
9. Stefan Ilchev – Get up
A performance and a song that remind ofLas Vegas by Martin Stenmark (Sweden 2005). Stefan is wearing black and his three female dancers are wearing tight silver and there are two backing singers with masks. The song is a kind of poprock with a bit of hiphop in the verses. The vocals are strong.
The results will be revealed after a series of interval acts.
