As previously announced, a musical is presently played at Le Gymnase, in Paris, and all songs performed were composed by Charles Aznavour along his more-than-50-years-old career. One of the 7 singers on stage is 2004s Eurovision Song Contest French entrant, Jonatan Cerrada. Heres a short review of the show.

Charles Aznavour is a talented man but an inflexible one too. Many projects have been made around his repertoire and he refused them all. Why did he change his mind this time? Probably because of the fact that the producer of the musical is Laurent Ruquier, famous TV presenter, comedian and story writer. J’me voyais déjà – title of the play and title of an Aznavour’s song, dealing with failure in show business, tells the story of 6 young artists who all have failed to convince a jury during a casting. Standing outside the theatre and complaining on “how the business is difficult”, they see one of the jurors (played by Canadian singer Diane Tell) leaving and they shouted at her : what went wrong with us ? The lady talks with the small group and decides to help them preparing a musical. All of them will now come to her flat everyday to work hard.
