Claire's Birthday to represent Estonia

The international jury chose Eighties Coming Back to represent Estonia on the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga.

The song won with 65 points, followed by Know what I feel by Koit Toome with 64 points and We are not done by Kadi Toom with 58 points. The song is performed by a group called Claire's Birthday, the author of the music and lyrics is Vaiko Eplik.

The favorite of the audience was Club Kung-Fu, performed by Vanilla Ninja.

The winning song wasn't clear until the last points, since Know What I feel was in the lead with 1 point before the final spokesman. The leader changed with almost every spokesman.

The jury consisted of people from Sweden (Anders Berglund), Belgium (Sergio), Slovenia(Darja Svajger), Germany (Manfred Witt), Israel(Moshe Datz), Latvia (Renars Kaupers), the UK (Michael Ball) and Iceland(Bo Halldorsson).

Estonia will perform from the 23rd position on the final concert of the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga on May 24th 2003.
