As previously announced, Malta introduces the new format for their Eurovision Song Contest selection process this year. The 56 songs through to the next round will be presented in a series of shows called Eurobox starting this Saturday. After that, 20 will proceed to the national final, Eurosong 2009. The provisional running order for the songs has now been announced.
Starting on Saturday 8th November, the 56 songs in contention to win Eurosong 2009 will be presented in a series of PBS television shows until 20 entries are selected to participate in the final. (15 by judges and 5 by televoting). Those 20 entries will compete for the ticket to Moscow in the grand final to be held at the MFCC, Ta' Qali, on February 7th, 2009.
