Manuel Carrasco will be releasing his 4th album Inercia on 16th September in Spain. Univesal Vale Music will be releasing the Andalusian artist's latest album. Manuel Carrasco shot to fame back in 2002 in Spain when he competed in the second series of Operación Triunfo. He was one of the three finalists of the show along with Beth and Ainhoa, thus getting the chance to compete in the 2003 Spanish Eurovision Song Contest heats.
Manuel hails from the Southern Spanish region of Andalucia and has established himself as a well-known singer in Spain having releasedthree albums already. He was among thethree finalists of Operación Triunfo 2 and was beaten by Ainhoa who went on to win the second edition of the talent show. This gave him the chance to fight for a ticket to Riga, he competed withthree songs at the Spanish Eurovision 2003 heats with Santa Lucía, Viviré moriré and Sueña con ese momento.The Spanish public decided to send Beth with the song Dime to the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest.
Manuel has composed all the songs on the album himself inspired by his own experiences and emotions. Inercia has been recorded, mixed and mastered entirely in Buenos Aires,Argentina, and has been produced by Cachorro López. The album includes twelve fresh new songs by Manuel in the pop genre, giving them a more international feeling in comparison to his previous songs.
