Dado Topić at unveiling of Bob Marley monument in Serbia

Dado Topić, Croatia�s representative at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, was one of the rock stars who had the honour of being present at the unveiling of a monument of reggae legend Bob Marley in Serbia.


The statue, the first Marley monument in Europe, was unveiled in the yard of the primary school in Banatski Sokol, on the occasion of the fourth ‘Rockvillage’ festival. Dado was accompanied by fellow singers Neša Galija, Zoran Kostić – Canet and Jovan Matić. It was sculpted by the academic sculptor Davor Dukić and stands 190 centimetres high.

Dado represented Croatia together with Dragonfly in Helsinki 2007, but failed to make it through to the final.
