In the Hart van Holland venue in Nijkerk, the first Dutch preselection has just produced its results. Mary Amora and the group Zooom will go to the final of Nationaal Songfestival 2003, which will take on March 1st.
Both the professional jury as well as the televoters selected Mary Amora's song Somewhere by the river to contintue to the final. According to the rules, the audience's second choice, Zooom's entry Boogie, became the second finalist.
In the next three Saturdays of February, the next six songs for the big final will be selected. This final is to be held on March 1, Ahoy Rotterdam.
