Listeners to the UK's most popular radio station, BBC Radio 2, have selected the four songs which will go through to the television final of A Song for Europe 2003. The final will take place on 2 March and will be filmed live at Television Centre in London.

The four selected songs and performers are:

Tricity – Cry baby
Mimi – Ever since that night
Emily Reed – Help me
Esther Hart – Wait for the moment

Esther Hart will also participate in one of the preselections of the Dutch Nationaal Songfestival, though at this stage it is thought she might be replaced due to the fact that the Dutch final takes place one night before the British one and should Ms Hart reach the final stage of the Dutch final, she'd have to make a very quick journey to London.

Terry Wogan, British commentator and popular Radio 2 presenter, also announced that the winner of this year's competition would be selected using televoting in 6 British regions.
