March 1 will be a day on which Dutch Eurovision fans can enjoy their hobby the whole day long. The Dutch preselection Nationaal Songfestival will be preceded by a beforeparty and followed by an afterparty. Both party's are held in the Ahoy venue in Rotterdam, the venue of the Nationaal Songfestival.

The Loco Loco Disco show will feature the afterparty. They will entertain the audience with their seveties disco show.

The beforeparty is organised by the Dutch Eurovision Artists foundation. They will entertain the audience with a Eurovision-recordfair, a videopresentation of the Nationaal Songfestival 1977, Eurovision-karaoke and a contest for lyricwriters. In this contest, the best Dutch lyrics on the melody of Out on my own are searched.

Furthermore, the Eurovision Artists foundation has some special performances planned but no details of those are available yet.

People that want to take part in either the karaoke or the lyrics-competition can still let the foundation know. Submissions must be entered before februari 1st.
