The Israeli entry for the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest, Words for Love, will be totally revamped soon with a new orchestration and stage directing.
Israeli paper Ma'ariv reports today that there's a clear intention of making big changes in the song Lior Narkis will represent Israel with, in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest, Words for Love.
The new arrangement of the song will be enhanced with live musicians. “We would like to give the song a richer and a more lively sound, with a bigger wind section”, says the composer, Yoni Ro'eh.
There is also a plan of giving the song a new look provided by a new stage director and backing singers, and a new video clip which will be sent to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in due time.
Yediot Ahronot paper reports today, that last Thursday's pre-selection show in Israel's Channel 1, gained 15% of the evening's ratings, in avarage, which is an achievement for the Israeli broadcaster, which usually loses to the commercial Channel 2.
