Polish fans contacted the EBU about the passive status for this year. They designed a system for the passive participants this year to televote.
The system seems very simple. However there are 24 participants (so 24 countries to vote), al the passive countries can be the '25th vote'. “In this way, more people will watch the show in the passive countries”, the fans wrote.
The EBU said that they will look at the idea later, but that it is technically difficult to realise.
