According to various Croatian newspapers, Vesna Pisarovic will not participate in Dora 2003, the Croatian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.
According to the newspapers, it was never Vesna's intention to submit a song to broadcaster HRT for Dora. How the song came into the selection is unknown. “My participation in Dora 2002 and the Eurovision Song Contest emotionally exhausted me and I don't want to go through that for a second time”, Pisarovic stated.
It has also become public that Vesna Pisarovic broke with her songwriter Milana Vlaovic.
