This afternoon, the 'performers' of the eight songs for the British selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Song for Europe, which appeared online at the BBC website, were not accurate according to the BBC.

“Placing the names online was done in error. We are negotiating with artists and nothing is sure yet”, Dominic Smith of the BBC Entertainment department told us.

The BBC will announce the names of the participants around the time the songs will be broadcast on Radio 2.
