According to Sertab Erener's official website, four songs have been submitted to Turkish state broadcaster TRT in preparation for an internal selection.

All songs are described as uptempo songs with both western and eastern elements. There are no ballads in the selection.

The Turkish entry will be chosen at the end of February by TRT, Sertab herself, Sezen Aksu (the composer), MFÖ and others.
