According to the Austrian newspaper Tiroler Tageszeitung, the national final Song 03 with 10 participants will be broadcast live on 14th March.

As in Germany, the entries for the national preselection will be entered by record companies. Broadcaster ORF has the final word when it comes to choosing the 10 finalists. The winning song, which will represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest in Riga, will be selected by the viewers via televoting and SMS.

Nothing is known about the possible participants of Song 03 at the moment.
