The countdown to the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest has kicked off as the Heads of Delegation Meeting is in full swing.
Mr. Jon Ola Sand (EBU) welcoming the Heads of Delegation to the meeting.
Heads of Delegation from the 43 competing countries at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest are meeting in the 2016 Eurovision host city from 13- 15 March. Host broadcaster SVT and the EBU will be briefing all the participating broadcasters with the latest developments, information, preparations and news concerning the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
During the HoD meeting all the participating broadcasters officially submit their competing entries to the EBU and host broadcaster.

The Heads of Delegation will be able to check out the venues and premises for the contest, Press Centre, Euroclub, Eurovision Village, Delegation Area etc during the 3 day meeting. Lots of information regarding Stockholm and Eurovision 2016 will be revealed in due course.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
