Amir, who will represent France at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with J’ai cherché, will perform his entry live on France 2’s DiCaire Show tonight (Saturday 12th March).

About the show

Presented by the singer/impressionist Véronic DiCaire, The DiCaire Show is an entertainment show promising a night of laughter, song and surprises.

A wealth of legendary names from the world of French language music and comedy will be present alongside Amir, including Patrick Bruel, Axelle Red and Lara Fabian, who represented Luxembourg at the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, where she finished in fourth place with Croire.

The story so far

A finalist on The Voice of France 2014, former dental surgeon Amir Haddad was announced as France’s Eurovision Song Contest 2016 representative on 29 February. As a “Big Five” country, France qualify automatically for the Grand Final of the competition, which takes place at the Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday 14 May.
