The 2016 Eurovision venue, the Globen Arena has implemented a new wifi network enabling visitors to connect faster in and around the 2016 Eurovision venue.

So if you are coming to Stockholm for Eurovision in May, you will have a fast wifi connection allowing you to communicate and use your internet from the Eurovision venue. Visitors will be able to use the wifi not only inside the arena but in the backstage areas, lobbies and restaurants. A new wifi system will also be implemented in the Annexe next door to the Globen Arena.

Marie Lindqvist, CEO of Stockholm Globe Arenas is very pleased with the new implementation and adds:

It feels great that we can now offer our visitors and organizers a really good connection in the Globe and Annexe. It is an important step in modernizing some of our older arenas for future requirements.

Thousands of Eurovision fans, journalists are expected to land in Stockholm along with the 42 delegations and acts come May.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globen Arena in Stockholm.
