Melodifestivalen is a big business in Sweden. The songs from this year's contest are currently all over the sales and radio charts in the country. Charlotte Perrelli and BWO achieved the highest placings this week and overall 16 out of 20 on the single sales chart come from the this year's Melodifestivalen.

Charlotte Perrelli´s winner Hero is still number one at the single sales chart. Another 15 tracks from Melodifestivalencan be foundin the Top 20 and yet another 6 songs are between 20 and 60. The only ones not from the 2007 Melodifestivalen in the Top 20areMadonna& Justin Timerlake's new single , Duffy, Jonathan Fagerlund and Maia Hirasawa's own version of last years Melodifestival winner The worrying kind, originally performed by The Ark.

On the albums chart Linda Bengtzing goes straight to number two with her second album Vild & galen. Close behind we find albums by Amy Diamond and Nordman.

One of the most important radio chart shows in Sweden is Tracks Top 20. For the second week we find BWO and Lay your love on me at number one. Sanna Nielsen goes straight to number 4 and Charlotte Perrelli falls on the chart to number 6 not makingto number one, as her predecessors The Ark and Lena Philipsson did.Still, Charlotte is more popular than Carola and Martin Stenmarck so far on the Tracks chart.

On Radio P4's own chart show Svensktoppen, BWOenter at first place. Two more songs from Melodifestivalen can currently be found on the chart, Frida & Headline at #9 and Johnson/Häggkvist at spot #10.
