Unser Lied für Stockholm has a winner. The German national final concluded with the ticket to Stockholm being awarded to Jamie-Lee Kriewitz. The artist will represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

After a turbulent journey to a final decision, Germany has now a representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

There were no surprises this year, and the winner of Unser Lied Für Stockholm will be the representative of Germany in the Grand Final in Stockholm in May.

Jamie-Lee Kriewitz was proclaimed winner of the gala and she will compete for a third victory for Germany with her song Ghost, winning the super-final of the national selection with 44.5% of the votes. Alex Diehl finished in second place with 33.9% whilst Avantasia received 21.6%.

Germany has an unequaled number of participations in the Eurovision Song Contest with two victories so far, in 1982 with Nicole and in 2010 with Lena.
