Dustin the Turkey was in Barcelona last night where he was interviewed by Andreu Buenafuente on his late night show aired on Spanish TV channel La Sexta. The Irish representive met Rodolfo Chikilicautre and was more than happy to dance to the beat of Baila el Chiki Chiki. A special puppet show featuring puppets depicting Rodolfo and Buenafuente was held along with Dustin the Turkey.

Dustin made his first television appearance on Spanish soil last night where he was greeted by the 2008 Spanish Eurovision representative Rodolfo Chikilicuatre. Andreu Buenafuente welcomed Dustin to Spain and gifted him with a Chiki Chiki pin wishing him the best of luck at the Eurovision Song Contest first semifinal scheduled to be held on May 20th in Belgrade. Buenafuente went on to mention that Dustin is a famous celebrity back home in Ireland where he has released several albums and has his own television show.

Both Rodolfo and Andreu took part in a special puppet show which was put on specially for the occasion mastering puppets of their own characters. Dustin was invited to dance alongside Rodolfo Chikilicuatre to the beat of Baila el Chiki Chiki.

Dustin the Turkey has received much publicity and exposure in the Spanish media and press lately thanks to his bid to represent Ireland at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest and his appearance last night on the private Spanish television channelLa Sexta.
