The second heat of A Dal 2016 has just concluded with 6 of tonight’s acts qualifying to the semi-final stage of the selection.

In tonight’s show hosted by Csilla Tatár and Levente Harsányi, a total of 10 acts performed their entries to both the public and jury. The top 5 qualifiers were decided via a combined public (20%) and jury (80%) vote, whilst a sixth and final qualifier was selected purely by televote.

Tonight’s results were as follows:

1. Kállay Saunders Band – Who we are (41 points)
2. Gergő Oláh – Győz a jó (39 points)
3. André Vásáry – Why (39 points)
4. Laci Gáspár – Love and bass (37 points)
5. Karmapolis & Böbe Szécsi – Hold on to (36 points)
6. Passed – Driftin’ (34 points)
7. Anna Patai – Colors (32 points)
8. Maszkura és a Tücsökraj – Kinek sírjam (32 points)
9. Group’n’Swing – Szeretni fáj (31 points)
10. C.E.T. – Free (27 points)

Anna Patai, Maszkura és a Tücsökraj, Group’n’Swing and C.E.T. were eliminated from the selection after receiving the fewest amount of votes. Passed was the final qualifier as decided by the public.

A Dal 2016 continues next Saturday with the third heat of the selection. A further 10 acts will compete for a place in the semi-final stage of the selection, but only 6 will qualify.

• 23/01: Heat 1 (10 participants, 6 qualifiers)
• 30/01: Heat 2 (10 participants, 6 qualifiers)
• 06/02: Heat 3 (10 participants, 6 qualifiers)
• 13/02: Semi-final 1 (9 participants, 4 qualifiers)
• 20/02: Semi-final 2 (9 participants, 4 qualifiers)
• 27/02: Grand final (8 finalists, winner decided)
