Sertab Erener in danger of disqualification?

According to a rumour within OGAE Turkey, the Turkish branch of Sony Music has put a spoke in the Turkish Eurovision wheel by refusing to include the song Sertab Erener will sing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003, in the compilation CD which the EBU releases every year.

According to the rules of the European Broadcasting Union, all songs participating in each edition of the Song Contest have to appear on the annual Eurovision album. If this is refused, the song will automatically be disqualified.

Although this may put Sertab Erener's participation in the upcoming contest in danger, the outcome is still expected to be a positive one from the Turkish record company.

It should be noted that this rumour circulated within a Eurovision fanclub, the Turkish branch of OGAE.
