The Danish national broadcaster DR, has announced today that it will reveal the names of the 10 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix candidates on 28 January.

The 2016 Danish Eurovision national final is scheduled to be held on Saturday 13 February at the Forum Horsens Arena in Horsens, Denmark and will be aired live on DR 1. The Danish broadcaster received a total of 982 entries for the 2016 Danish Eurovision final. DR has narrowed down the number to 10 songs. Hence a total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Stockholm.

The official 2016 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix cd is set to be released onĀ  29 February 2016.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May in Stockholm, Sweden.
