The six acts that will compete for the right to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 have been selected.

The nineteen shortlisted acts all performed live to a jury in the expert check, with the jury cutting the list to just six songs that will take part in the Swiss national final in February.

Rykka, Vincent Gross and act Stanley Miller were selected from the SRF selection, which saw over 100 acts enter the initial phase of voting.

Bella C & Stephanie Palazzo were selected from the RTS selection, whilst Theo rounds up the finalists representing the Italian Swiss broadcaster RSI.

The six acts will perform their entries in the live final of Die Entscheidungsshow on February 13. They will also perform a cover version of a song of their choice.

Switzerland will be one of the 43 countries that will be represented at the Eurovision Song Contest next year.

Earlier this year, Melanie Rene won the Swiss selection with her song Time to shine.

At the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, she failed to make it out of her semi-final after finishing in 17th with four points.
