It has been announced that Michele Imberti, an Italian singer living in Sweden, has sent a song to RTV to represent San Marino at the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade this coming May.
The songwriter of "Toccare il cielo" is Matteo Di Franco. Matteo Di Franco was the songwriter of "Maggie" performed by Mosesat San Remo in Italy in 2001, and "Preda innocente" performed by Tiziano Orecchio in San Remo 2006.
Michele Imberti, 24 years old, actually lives in Stockholm, Swedenand he has been one of 32 finalists in "Accademia di Sanremo" in 2001 and one of 25 finalistsat theSan Marino Festival one year later.
