Night 2 of Festivali i Këngës 54 takes place this evening with semi-final 2 of the event taking place at 20:45 CET. Nine more acts will qualify in tonight’s show, joining the previous 9 qualifiers from semi-final 1.

As with yesterday evening’s show, semi-final 2 of Festivali i Këngës 54 (FiK 54) will be hosted by the presenting trio, made up of Pandi Laço, Gresa Pallaska and Blerta Tafani, at the Pallati i Kongreseve in Tirana. A further 15 acts will compete in tonight’s event with another 9 acts qualifying to tomorrow night’s grand final.

This evening’s 9 qualifiers will join the semi-final 1 qualifiers, meaning that a total of 18 acts will be competing in tomorrow night’s grand final, with the winner going on to represent Albania and the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. Tonight’s 9 qualifiers will be revealed alongside the semi-final 1 qualifiers on Sunday at midday. The winner will be decided via a jury vote.
