Earlier this year, LRT confirmed Lithuania’s participation in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, revealing that the Lithuanian national selection Eurovizija would once again be the country’s chosen selection method.

Artists and composers had until the 1 December in order to submit their entries to the national broadcaster who will then decide which artists and songs should be selected to compete in the national selection. As with previous years, 2 finals will take place in order to select the Lithuanian Eurovision entry; a song final and an artist final.

The Eurovizija 2016 participants are expected to be revealed later this month.
