Everything is ready for Eirodziesma, the Latvian final for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. The show will feature many Eurostars from this year as well as past years and it will be streamed live for international fans to follow.

On 1st March, at 20:15 CET – 22:15 CET, Eirodziesma, the Latvian preselection for this year's Eurovision Song Contest takes place. The selection will be in two phases, three out of the ten finalists will proceed to the Super Final which will decide this year's winner.

Many special guests have accepted LTV's invitation to appear in the show and we will see this year's Maltes representative, Morena, Jeronimas Milius from Lithuania, Elnur and Samir from Azerbaijan and Tereza Kerndlova from the Czech Republic. Bonaparti.lv, who represented Latvia last year in Helsinki will also be present, as well as Liene Somase (Eirodziesma 2007 finalist), Tumsa and Martins Freimanis (author of Hello from Mars (2003) and The war is not over (2005) and Putnu balle and Walter & Kazha (2005).
