Exclusive: Null System disqualified in Spain

Spanish national broadcaster, RTVE has just confirmed to esctoday.com that the song Mourning by Null System has been disqualified from the country's Eurovision Song Contest national selection. Earlier this morning, esctoday.com presented the information sent in from several Spanish and international readers showing that the song appeared to have been available to purchase since 10th July 2007.

RTVE launched an investigation and have been able to confirm that the song does breach the rules. They have confirmed to esctoday.com that the song has been disqualified from the competition. The jury has been reassembled and they are working on a selecting a replacement song.
