The second and final night of the Israeli national final, Kdam-Eurovision 2008, will be broadcasted tonight on Channel 2 and on the internet. One of the 5 songs Boaz Mauda performed last night will be deemed winner tonight and be sent to Belgrade in May.

According to last night's viewing figures, IBA's decision to hand the Kdam-Eurovision over to Channel 2 was proven to be wise: The show last night gained an avarage of 26,6% market share. The second part of the Kdam will be broadcasted tonight, starting once again at 20:00 CET(21:00 local time). During the show tonight, there will be guest performances by Shiri Maymon (Israel 2005) and other artists and former Eurovision Song Contest entrants.

The public in Israel will be able to vote right until tonight's show begins, by SMS and through Channel 2 website. The results will be a mixture of lastnight's expert's panel vote, the public's vote and the vote of 3 juries, one of them being Israel's OGAE club.

Here is the current status, after last night's experts panel's vote:

  1. 3000 Ke'ilo kan / As if here
  2. 2600 Bli Ahava / Without Love
  3. 2400 Parparim / Butterflies
  4. 0 Masa Haiyai / The journey of my life
