It has been almost a year since she announced that she was ceasing her appearances on stage. Pastora Soler, the Spanish Eurovision entrant in 2012, is now a happy mother. She can be seen actively working in the talent show La Voz Kids, which gifted the audience this week with a brief performance by Pastora.

Pastora Soler stopped her live performances last year due to stage fright after a 20-year-long-career. She joined the team of artists in the Telecinco show La Voz Kids, the junior version of the talent show The Voice, as an adviser to the coach Rosario Flores.

It was in the latest broadcast of La Voz Kids when Pastora Soler could be seen singing again on a stage. It was unprepared. Rosario gave me the mic and it all happened, she declared during a recent meeting with the press on Tuesday in Málaga, as we read on hoy.es.

Still, this brief performance is not the announcement of her comeback to live performance. Not yet; now I have a baby that needs me all the time. When I come back it will be little by little, she added.

When she met the press this week she was accompanied by other advisers to the coaches of La Voz Kids. The event was a chance to learn about what happens behind the cameras during the shot of the show. In that line, Pastora explained that when the galas were being filmed I was still pregnant and I was very sensitive to the purity of the children.

Parents

Pastora met with the press together with La Voz Kids coach-advisers Pablo López and Vanessa Martín. The three explained a series of details about the making of the show, but there is one thing the three agreed upon: the parents of the participants are the ones who have the hardest time in this type of competitions. Soler further explained that her own parents did not always agree with her competing in talent shows. Besides, her decision to become an artist was tough for them too. As the singer stated, they did not quite like it.

Well, things turned out pretty well eventually… Let’s see now where it goes.

Pastora Soler participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 for Spain with the song Quédate conmigo.
