DR, the Danish national broadcaster has announced the host city and the date for the 2016 Danish Eurovision national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.
The 2016 Danish national final DMGP 2016 will be held at the Horsens Forum in Horsens, Jutland on Saturday 13 February. Ticket sales for the Danish national final will go on sale as of 2 November. The venue can accomodate between 3,500-4,000 persons. It is the 4th time that the city of Horsens will welcome the DMGP, having hosted the competition in 2005, 2007 and 2008.
Artists wishing to compete in the 2016 Danish national final can submit their respective entries and applications to DR until 7 September.
The Venue
In 2015 Anti Social Media won the Danish national final and represented Denmark at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with their entry The way you are.
