Spanish media and newspapers have been covering the forthcoming Spanish Eurovision final religiously every day since the Spanish national broadcaster TVE officially announced the method of selection of the Spanish 2008 Eurovision entry. The Spanish media is reporting that TVE has been very successful in introducing this new and innovative method to select their entry for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The countdown is on as only 1 day is left for composers and artists to submit their entries. 418 entries have been registered so far.

Salvemos Eurovision is the name of the Spanish Eurovision selection where authors, composers and artists from all over Spain have been invited to submit their entries in order to compete in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. Spanish singers have only 1 more day left to submit a song in order to compete in the Spanish Eurovision national final. The deadline for uploading the entry along with a personal introduction videoon thespecial Myspace Spanish Eurovisionpage,ends tomorrow at 22 hrs CET.

Online voting will commence on the 14th of February where the public will get the chance to vote for their favourite entries. 5 songs will be elected via public online voting along with another 5 which will be selected bya special expert jury.The Spanish national final will be held on the 1st of March with 10 songs battling in their quest to represent Spain in Belgrade.

Artists from all over Spain have submitted songs with a vast variety of styles and genres. Salvemos Eurovision has triggered massive interest among the Spanish singers as more than 400 songs have been received.
