Monika Linkytė, one half of the duo that represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest, has released her first single since the contest.

Celebrating her 23rd birthday today (3 June), she has released the follow up single to her Eurovision Song Contest entry.

This time she’s going solo with her new song, Po dangum, and you can check it out below.

Monika, along with Vaidas Baumila, represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna earlier this year.

The duo reached the final with their entry This time and went on to finish in 18th place with 30 points.

Lithuania has been competing in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1994. On their debut, Ovidijus Vyšniauskas finished last with 0 points.

The country’s best result to date came ten years ago – at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 where LT United’s We are the winners claimed 6th place.
