The 2015 Swedish Eurovision winner Måns Zelmerlöw was welcomed like a hero in his hometown Lund few days back when he got back from Vienna.
Måns Zelmerlöw won the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna last Saturday thus bringing the Eurovision trophy on Swedish soil for the 6th time. You can watch how Lund welcomed the Swedish Eurovision winner as a real Hero here.
Head of Delegation of Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest and Melodifestivalen producer Christer Bjorkman accompanied Måns to Lund, where the Swedish Eurovision winner was honoured by his town folk and given a Heroes welcome!
Hundreds turned out to greet the the twenty-eight-year-old who successfully beat off stiff competition from Russia and Italy with his song entitled Heroes.
Zelmerlow hopes the win will help him launch an international career:
This was definitely a big dream and to win the Eurovision Song Contest is, as I said, almost too good to be true. But the dream is an international tour, an international career and I hope that this has opened some doors for that and that is what I will continue to work for.
