Azerbaijan’s Elnur Hüseynov will be singing Hour of the wolf at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, and with his first rehearsal taking place tomorrow (Thursday 14 May), his hour in the spotlight is fast approaching…

Elnur, who returns to the Contest following an eighth place Grand Final finish with Samir in Belgrade 2008 (Azerbaijan’s first year in the competition), arrives at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna following an intensive European promotional tour, which saw him visit six countries in two weeks.

The 28-year-old singer is now completely focused on delivering his message of “Every heart deserves a fight” in the very best manner at Eurovision, with perfect stage presentation and vocal performance.

Elnur will be joined on stage by three strong backing vocalists, who promise to furnish Hour of the wolf with a powerful chorus sound, and two award-winning backing dancers. Hour of the wolf is a passionate song which speaks of aspirations, dreams, and the importance of never giving up, and anyone expecting conventional “love story” choreography at the Wiener Stadthalle is in for a surprise..
