Tonight, Katy Satyn opens the first quarter final of Belgium's Eurosong 2008 with Magical Sensation. The song has been written by the team of Sarek, the Swedish folk group which has participated in Melodifestivalen twice, most successfully in 2003 where they finished in 6th position with Genom eld och vatten.

Five songs will participate in the first quarter final of Belgium's search for its representative for Eurovision 2008. "All of them could be dangerous!" says Sarek singer Stina Engelbrecht, who is one of the authors of Magical Sensation. Her reaction to Belgovision.com after listening to Katy Satyn's four competitors: "The songs of the first heat are all of a high level".

Sarek are currently preparing their third album due to be released this summer. The album will include the Swedish version of Katy Satyn's Eurosong 2008 entry, "Magical Sensation will be called Magiska Sekunder in Swedish," Stina explains. "Sarek's version is going to be a little bit longer and the production is going to be a little bit different because we adapted Magical Sensation to Katy's voice."

"The album will contain five English versions, especially made for our fans outside Sweden," Stina promises. But will we see them back in Melodifestivalen one day? "We are not planning for a participation right now, but the Eurovision Song Contest is an awesome experience, so you never know what will happen in the future."

Belgium's Eurosong will kick off tonight when the first quarter final is being aired.
