Australia: Jury and Televoting for all the shows

In 2015, Europe welcomes Australia at the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. It was already known that Australia will vote with a jury, but due to time zone differences, it was uncertain whether the Australian public would be able to cast their tele-votes. But the country down under need not worry: Australia will be able to use televote.

The Australian jury, which will decide 50% of the votes during the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, consists of chair Amanda Pelman (producer and well known in the Australian music industry), Richard Wilkins (violinist, television- and radio-host), Danielle Spencer (pianist and vocalist), Jake Stone (performer, music journalist, radio- and event-host, songwriter), and Ash London (music programmes host).

Besides the professional jury, the Australian public will be able to cast their vote via televoting. Although the Australians will have to stay up late – or wake up early – because of time zone differences, they will be allowed to vote during the official live broadcast of the two semi-finals and the final of Eurovision 2015. Due to the difference in time zone, Australia will watch semi-final 1 on Wednesday May 20th at 5am, semi-final 2 on Friday May 22nd at 5am, and the grand final on Sunday May 24th at 5am.

At the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Australia will be represented by artist Guy Sebastian with the song Tonight Again:
