Malta: Pamela and Mary interviewed

esctoday.com's partner website, escmalta.com caught up with two of the beaten semi finalists from
Thursday night's Go Malta Song For Europe semi final. Pamela, who had one solo entry strongly
tipped to win the competition and a duet with Glen; and Mary Spiteri, Malta's 1992 Eurovision Song
Contest representative, who had two songs that failed to qualify for tonight's final.

Pamela spoke about her performance in the semi-final. She stated that she expressed her emotions to the full during the song Whispers while during the song Loved by you she enjoyed it a lot along with Glen. Pamela revealed that after her performances she received a lot of messages about her great performances.

"I do not participate to win only but also to express my talent to the audience", said Pamela. The singer from Malta's island of Gozi continued by expressing her regards to the finalists and she finally ended the interview by stating that this year's Malta Song For Europe was one of the most enjoyable experience she had in her life.

Mary Spiteri was very happy with her performance for both songs and satisfied that she had made it to the Maltese national selection. Asked if she was disappointed not to be in the final despite being highly popular in Malta due to her charisma and vocal talent on stage, she replied "I will comment in May after the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade".
