Tonight, the Norwegian selection for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest will continue: another six music acts will present one song each in the third and last semi final of this year's Melodi Grand Prix. The top two entries (chosen by televoting) will go directly to the final with the third and fourth placed songs entering the second chance round.
The show will start at 19:55 CET. The third semi final is held in Bodø hosted by Per Sundes. Televoting will send the top two songs directly to the final while the thrid and fourth place entries will enter the second chance round on 6th February.

In 2007, Norway was represented by Guri Schanke who finished 18th in the semi final with Ven a bailar conmigo. It would be the first time that Norwayis not taking part in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest since the semi final was introduced in 2004.
