Spain has achieved its fourth victory at the OGAE Song Contest 2007, held in Athens (Greece). The results of the 2007 edition have been released and Rebeca with the song Qué no daría yo tops the chart, ahead from the United Kingdom and Greece, placed 2nd and 3rd respectively. Therefore, OGAE Spain will have the honour to host the 2008 OGAESC.

Rebeca is known to eurofans since she has tried to represent her native country twice at the Eurovision Song Contest. The first time was back in 2006, when she submitted her entry Qué no daría yo – now victorious at OGAESC – and in 2007, competing in the Spanish preselection Misión Eurovisión.

The Barcelona-born singer has won the 2007 OGAE Song Contest with 179 points, 20 ahead from the UK's worldwide known band Take That. Greece, the host country of the contest, placed 3rd being represented by Helena Paparizou.

Thus, 2007 sees the fourth victory for Spain at the OGAE Song Contest. Rebeca joins Paloma San Basilio (1995), Amistades Peligrosas (1996) and Marta Sánchez (1997). With this win, OGAE Spain gets the right of being the host club of this year's OGAE Song Contest.
