The Nicole, who will be making her Melodifestivalen debut in the third Swedish semi final in Vasteras next month, has this week released a debut single. The song, Shut up is published by Lionheart International.

The Nicole is 23 year old a Russian born singer with Greek and Spanish origins. She moved to Greece aged four where she began performing in ballet. At the age of 11, she wrote a novel entitled "Françoise Monnet" which was registed at the Athenian Library and by the age of 14 Nicole could already speak fluently in six languages, as well as being an acomplished piano player.

In 2003, living in France, Nicole wrote her new novel “2 drops of water” in 3 different languages and embarked on writing a new trilogy. During that time, she met songwriter and producer Nickos Terzis and recorded the album "give me your number". However this collaborations ended abruptly. Nicole decided to make a new start in the music industry on her own. She finds by accident on the internet the Swedish song writer and producer Marcus Black who was the key link to her publisher Peo Nylen.

After the 1st year of going back and forth between Sweden and France, working with many different producers, thanks to Peo Nylen, Nicole meets her current producers, Stefan Åberg and Tord Backström. The team gets along immediately and from the very first day, in October 2006, they write their 1st song and the 1st single to be, “Shut Up”.

A year later, the team presents their 5 best songs to a number of record labels, and in october 2007, their collaboration with Lionheart International began. Their song “Razborka” qualified for the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest selection competition, Melodifestivalen.
