After taking the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest by storm becoming the most characteristic figure of the year for generations to remember with her outrageous looks and antics, Verka Serduchka returns a few months later with a new single and video clip claiming to be no less than her majesty the Eurovision queen herself.

Verka Serduchka is not likely to let her star cap be forgotten soon as the Ukrainian Cinderella returns to cash in on her 2007 success with a brand new song linked to her participation inlast year's Eurovision Song Contest. In this new video clip, Verka and mother visit the Eiffel Tower, iron the Ukrainian flag and cause the usual commotion with a tune that something tells us will be very popular in Eurovision parties.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
