Julija Ritčik, lead singer of 4Fun who represented Lithuania in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, returns once more to the race with To my soul, a song entirely different to her previous entry Love or leave. Together with Girma they have been awarded a wildcard by LRT and they will be competing directly in the Lithuanian final.

Despite last year's poor result with Love or leave in Helsinki, Julija Ritčik has decided to take her chances once more without her band this time. She teamed up with friend Girmante Vaitkute (Girma) and she is competing directly in the Lithuanian final with To my soul, having been awarded a wildcard by LRT.

Julija's duet with Girma is an electronic ambient piece with a strong drum ‘n base rhythm. To my soul is sung mostly in English with only the chorus in Lithuanian.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
