Back in 1985, RTL sends a group to represent the Grand Duché in Gothenburg with a special concept : three couples singing in three languages… with a song penned by Ralph Siegel ! Still, “Children, Kinder, Enfants” certainly sounded like a mess to European juries as the entry ended with a small score of 37 points and a 13th place, something quite unusual for Luxembourg at the time.

The man of the French-speaking pair was Franck Olivier (real name Claude Vangansbeck), who already had a certain fame in his native country Belgium since the end of the 70's. He also presented a program made for children, with which he gained more popularity. Actually, a double CD with 40 songs by him was released a couple of months ago. The record will also please Lara Fabian's fans as it includes the song L'amour voyage, a duet with the one who represented Luxembourg in 1988. Another song with a Eurovision connection can be found on this record : C'est comme tu veux, another duet, this time by Dominique Poulain, a "quarter" of the French Cocktail Chic (France 1986).
