ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster completed the construction of the 2015 Eurovision stage at the Wiener Stadthalle earlier this week. ORF aired a video earlier during the week showing the stage in action along with the construction of the Green Room right across the stage.
The countdown is on as the 2015 Eurovision host city is all set to welcome Europe in little less than a forthnight when the first delegations will land in the majectic Austrian capital city for the rehearsals. A total of 40 countries will compete in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, scheduled to be held on 19, 21, and 23 May.
A Eurovision briefing/summary was aired on ORF 2’s Heute Osterreich programe where we can we see the release of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest stamps and the 2015 Eurovision stage which was completed last Tuesday along with the construction and preparations of the Green Room, which will be located right opposite of the stage with public standing area in between.
The Eurovision stamps have been issued by the Austrian Post Office. ORF’s Executive Producer Mr. Edgar Böhm and Mr. Jörg Pribil from Österreichischen Post were present at the release of the Eurovision stamps.
