Eurovision 2015: See the stage in action!

Following weeks of construction, the stage for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is now complete. Video footage from inside the arena has since been revealed of the Eurovision stage in action!

Since the start of April, construction of this year’s Eurovision stage has been underway at the host venue, the Wiener Stadthalle.  Photos of this year’s stage have been revealed via the official ORF Eurovision Song Contest Facebook page, giving us a sneak peek at this year’s construction process throughout the past few weeks.

Following yesterday’s announcement regarding the stage’s completion, news site krone.at has since unveiled a report relating to the arena which shows us exclusive footage of the stage in action. Check out the video below!

During yesterday’s press commission, it was revealed that this year’s Eurovision stage dimensions was as follows; 44 meters wide, 14.3 meters in height and 22 meters in depth. A total of 1,288 LED pillars form the Heptic Eye shape whilst 1,400 lights are used in order to illuminate the pillars.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will take place on the 19, 21 and 23 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna.
