Tomorrow, Saturday 12th January, the Swiss entry in the Eurovision Song Contest will be presented for the first time. Paolo Meneguzzi will sing Era stupendo (It was wonderful) during the sixth edition of the SwissAwards.
The show will start at 20:10 CET and is broadcast on SF1, TSR2 and TSI2. Sandra Studer will host the show: in 1991, she has represented Switzerland herself as Sandra Simò in the Eurovision Song Contest with Canzone per te. Furthermore, she has been the Swiss commentator for many years.

Switzerland did not reach the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 when DJ BoBo finished 20th in the semi final with his song Vampires are alive. In 200, Paolo Meneguzzi will take part in one of the semi finals.
