OGAE Estonia celebrated its 12th birthday at the weekend in style, with a headlining performance from the country’s 2015 Eurovision Song Contest representatives Elina Born and Stig Rästa. Tanja, who flew the flag for Estonia at Eurovision 2014, also performed at the party.
As reported by esctoday, the party took place at Tallinn’s Club W venue.
OGAE Estonia’s Vice President Illar Toomaru estimated that approximately 400 to 500 people were in attendance at the party, with an enthusiastic and crowded presence on the dancefloor.
Elina and Stig played an acoustic set, and Elina performed a number of her past hits, including her 2013 Eesti Laul entry Enough and Miss Calculation.

OGAE – Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l’Eurovision – International was founded in 1984 in Savonlinna, Finland by Jari-Pekka Koikkalainen, who is now an honorary member of OGAE Finland. OGAE, a non-profit umbrella organisation, gathers 40 national Eurovision fan clubs together and has become the biggest network for Eurovision fans from all around the world. Elina and Stig won Eesti Laul 2015 with Goodbye to yesterday, and with that victory the right to represent Estonia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. They will contest the first semi-final at Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle on Tuesday 19 May from a starting position of seventh.
Tanja represented Estonia at the Copenhagen-hosted Eurovision Song Contest of 2014, following her Eesti Laul triumph of that year. Her entry, Amazing, finished in twelfth place in semi-final one.
